Human Rights Defender and HRCU Partner in the Human Rights defending arena, Hoping
that this email finds you and loved ones/Team are well and safe. HRCU
continues to value/appreciate your work and prays that we continue to partner
in contributing to a favorable environment where human rights and fundamental
freedoms can be promoted, protected and realized. We
are glad that the economy is opening up and citizens are slowly picking up and
recovering from COVID-19 pandemic and its attendant effects. By
way of update, results of
COVID-19 tests done on 16 January 2022 confirmed 257 new cases. The cumulative confirmed cases are 158,933
with the break down being 252 Alerts And Contacts; Kampala (124), Wakiso (76),
Oyam (10), Kween (9), Arua (6), Gulu (5), Soroti (2), Jinja (3), Kyotera (5),
Tororo (1), Mbale (1), Hoima (2), Gomba (1), Kabarole (1), Amuru (3), Lira (1),

standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all material times. Please feel
